Secondly, low voltage lighting tends to be smaller than conventional lighting. This means that more intricate design systems can be put in place for lamps and such like. Novelty lighting designs have made great use of these low voltage bulbs and they have a certain aesthetic appeal that just adds to their list of advantages!
Thirdly, because less power is being used with low voltage lighting, the beams of light emitted are generally cooler. This means that again, they can be used in places that most conventional lighting types cannot. Also, it means that because the beams are cooler, the person that happens to be in the surrounding area doesn't get warm, making them perfect for those that have warm houses during the hot months of the year! It also makes them great for slightly more dangerous rooms in the house, such as bathrooms that get steamy with showers and baths and kitchens that can suffer the effects of condensation with cooking.
Overall, low voltage lighting has so many advantages; it makes sense to introduce them into your home, garage, place of work, garden etc. They can be used to enhance already existing lighting, and also to give emphasis to certain features within your home, like a painting or focal point in a room. The possibilities are endless and it is completely up to you what you decide to do with them! So, next time you are wandering around the hardware store and you come across low voltage lighting, think about everything I have said and think about how they could benefit you and your home!
